ICT+ROBOTICs+ETHICs Choice of Educational Material and Subjects in Non Formal Learning Environment (elective subjects and courses) related to the level of intellectual development of students

Dezember 2019                                   Angewandte Robotik an der     Politechnika Gdanska                                       Welch ein Bauwerk, auch heute noch!                    Das ist mehr eine Stadt der Technik als eine                        Universität! Nennen wir sie UniverCity…                    Die Eingangshalle erstrahlt weihnachtlich.                    Das Atrium, glasgedeckt, war für ein Fest vorbereitet und Foucaults Pendel folgte seiner ewigen Spur. Im ersten Stock war die Liste der Rektor*innen der Universität zu bewundern. Mr Mariusz Dalokowski hielt einen Vortrag über Mechatronik und Robotik, von historischen Modellen bis hin zu modernen, blitzschnellen Geräten. Letztere müssen zur Unfallverhütung hinter einem Schutzgitter betrieben werden. Die Programmierung kann per Handheld erfolgen oder am PC.       Der Ablauf ist in Echtzeit auf dem Monitor zu verfolgen. Simulation erlaubt, Kosten zu senken. Die nächste Station zeigte uns fahrende Roboter, die Hindernissen ausweichen. Und JA, die UNI verwendet LEGO^  NXT^ als angemessenes System für den Einstieg in die Robotik. Diese Woche bot uns Theorie und Praxis, Workshops, Exkursionen, Politik, Geschichte, Kultur, Sport und Zeit zum Gedankenaustausch wohl balanciert. 1000 Dank ans CONRADINUM!

Meeting in Gdansk 3^nd - 6^th of December 2019 Applied Robotics at Politechnika Gdanska What a historical building, still! This is more a town of technical sciences than just a university, let´s name it UniverCity... The main hall spent Christmas-Flair. The atrium, covered with glass, was prepared for a festivity and the Pendulum of Focault was tracking it´s everlasting dedicated trace. Upstairs students admired the chart of principals and doctores honoris causa at this Alma Mater. Then we attended a lecture of Mechatronics and Robotics by Mr Mariusz Dalokowski, who introduced the teams into programmable Robot-Arms, starting with historical ones and leading up to modern systems, which are running at unbelieveable velocity. Therefore those devices have to work in a cage like prisoners, to avoid injuries of students. The program can be built by means of handhelds step by step or just via computer. These programs are to be followed in monitors in real time, when the system is working. A second station shows the option of simulation instead of using real robots. So a lot of money can be saved. The ready programs are sent to companies, where real machines  work. This meeting, which gave us an upgrade to the first visit to robot arms in the Pomorskie Centrum Programowania Robotow, ended up by a lecture on robots, which can move on the ground, detecting obstacles and finding their traces. Thanks to the Polytechnic for hosting our team, thank YOU, Mr Dalokowski, for such an interesting walk through robotics laboritories! And, YES, the university also uses LEGO  NXT as an appropriate system for first steps into robotics´ science. This week was a really inspiring project in the centre of our project! We experienced well balanced days in theory, workshops, excursions, culture, politics, history, sports and time for exchange of facts, views and opinions. 1000 THANKS to CONRADINUM!
